The center utilizes a Zeiss Confocal Microscopy LSM 710 for confocal imaging and analysis. The Zeiss Confocal Microscopy LSM 710 has 6 excitation laser lines at 405, 458, 488, 514, 561 and 633nm. It is has 3 separate spectral detection channels and is capable of detecting many standard fluorophores, including DAPI, CFP, GFP, fluorescein, Rhodamine, Texas Red, RFP, CY5 and several of the AlexFluor dyes. Suitable applications include imaging of single, double and triple-labeled specimens, 3-dimensional image analysis, colocalization studies, immunofluorescence, time series and FRAP experiments. The microscope uses Zeiss LSM software for image analysis and processing.

GE Typhoon Trio Imager
The GE Typhoon Trio instrument is a variable-mode imager that produces digital images of radioactive, fluorescent, or chemiluminescent samples. The Typhoon instrument is available in several models. The Typhoon Trio instrument contains three internal lasers (blue, green, and red).
Statistical & Bioinformatic Analysis
The center provides bioinformatic and statistical analyses for transcriptomic, metabolomic, epigenomic and microbiome approaches.
