Cytek Biosciences Aurora Flow Cytometer

With up to four lasers, three scattering channels, 48 fluorescence channels, and 24 colors, the Aurora suits every laboratory’s needs, from simple to highcomplexity applications. A paradigm shifting optical design provides unprecedented flexibility, enabling the use of a wide array of new fluorochrome combinations without reconfiguring your system for each application. The state-of-the-art optics and low-noise electronics provide excellent sensitivity and resolution. Flat-top beam profiles, combined with a uniquely designed fluidics system, translate to outstanding performance at high sample flow rates.
Confocal Analysis
The center utilizes a Zeiss Confocal Microscopy LSM 710 for confocal imaging and analysis. The Zeiss Confocal Microscopy LSM 710 has 6 excitation laser lines at 405, 458, 488, 514, 561 and 633nm. It is has 3 separate spectral detection channels and is capable of detecting many standard fluorophores, including DAPI, CFP, GFP, fluorescein, Rhodamine, Texas Red, RFP, CY5 and several of the AlexFluor dyes. Suitable applications include imaging of single, double and triple-labeled specimens, 3-dimensional image analysis, colocalization studies, immunofluorescence, time series and FRAP experiments. The microscope uses Zeiss LSM software for image analysis and processing.
HPLC Analysis
HPLC analysis can be conducted with the use of Agilent’s 1220 Infinity II LC. The 1220 Infinity II LC is an integrated system for routine HPLC and UHPLC analysis in analytical and QA/QC labs. Based on the proven technology of the InfinityLab LC Series, the system’s high quality and high performance help you to achieve maximum return on investment and lowest cost of ownership from day one. You can choose from four affordable, “all-in-one” configurations while upgrade paths allow you to increase system capability as your needs change. The walk-up upgrade and software convert the 1220 Infinity II LC into the perfect LC or LC/MS workhorse for a multi-user environment.
Typhoon Imager
The GE Typhoon Trio is a variable-mode imager that produces digital images of radioactive, fluorescent, or chemiluminescent samples. The Trio instrument contains three internal lasers (blue, green, and red).
Statistical & Bioinformatic Analysis
The center can provide bioinformatic and statistical analyses for transcriptomic data of microbiota and metabolites.
