The director of the Center for Inflammation & Mucosal Immunology, Dr. Mansour Mohamadzadeh, has invited five esteemed researchers as guests to speak at the Department of Infectious Diseases & Immunology’s Fall 2019 Seminar Series. The Seminar Series, a signature program of the Department of Infectious Diseases & Immunology, features guest lectures by scientists of national prestige presenting cutting-edge research for the University of Florida’s scientific community. The Seminar Series is a staple in the department’s goal to facilitate interdepartmental and interinstitutional collaboration, and to showcase the best and brightest across a variety of different scientific fields.
To that end, Dr. Mohamadzadeh’s Seminar Series guests are meant to showcase some of the best and brightest in the fields of mucosal immunology and host-microbiome interactions in human health. Some of his guests are well established in their respective fields, while others are new and promising up-and-comers. Each guest offers unique and insightful research in the field of mucosal immunology that members of the Center for Inflammation & Mucosal Immunology could benefit from.
The Departmental Seminar Series takes place on Tuesdays from 11:30am – 12:30pm. The venue for Dr. Mohamadzadeh’s guests will be in Veterinary Medicine Academic Building Room V3-114. Please be sure to join us.
