Dear Members & Friends,
Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 (8:00am – 2:30pm) our Spring Mini Symposium returns!
On behalf of the Advisory Committee of the Center of Inflammation & Mucosal Immunology (CIMI), I courteously wish to invite all faculty, members, and friends of our center to join us for our annual Spring Mini Symposium! This signature program of CIMI will feature guest lectures from scientists of national prestige, succinct presentations of cutting-edge research from University of Florida’s research community, and trainees showcasing the future of mucosal immunological & microbiome research.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Ulf H. Beier from the University of Pennsylvania, a nationally recognized expert in transplant immunosuppression, T-cell biology, and immunometabolism. Dr. Beier will be joined by our prominent UF faculty speakers as they present their work on the newest progress and developments in the field of host-microbiome-metabolomics.
The Spring Mini Symposium is a FREE day-long event and refreshments will be provided to all who attend. The event will take place in Communicore C1-7 from 8:00am – 2:30pm. We will start the day with sign-in, along with a light breakfast and coffee at 8:00am before beginning the program at 8:20am. Boxed lunches will be handed out during an intermission period for attendees to enjoy. Seating is limited, so make sure to REGISTER NOW. REGISTRATION CLOSED
We look forward to seeing you on May 21st!
Sincerely,
Mansour Mohamadzadeh, Ph.D.
